BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO CROATIA IS LOOKING FOR A OPERATION LOGISTICS MANAGER

PURPOSE STATEMENT

  • Manage and improve the complete end to end Logistics solutions, capable to cope with growing output of the factory.
  • Manage the local team and external suppliers to limit the costs of logistics both internal and external.
  • Drive forward automation processes to minimize workload and ensure better process efficiency.

  • Being member of Kanfanar Factory LT
  • Leading SN Pillar of IWS for Kanfanar Factory

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services of Raw Material, Tobacco, and Finished Product warehouses of the Kanfanar factory
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle, by defining KPIs of Factory Logistics, focused on quality, accuracy, efficiency, and cost
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
  • Ensuring the warehouse site is safe and secure and set-up in line with applicable regional and global standard and best practices
  • To manage the factory logistics processes with 3PL to provide proper service for the factory
  • Implementation of projects in the local operation whilst ensuring compliance to legal regulation, especially in customs and excise area

  • Develop the local infrastructure to meet the business expectations and to support the factory targets
  • Ensures targets are met, due dates and quality standards
  • To cooperate with external supplier and stakeholders to ensure the processes and executed in an efficient way
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the company EHS policy and procedures and ensure these are followed during the course of any work
  • Ensure all office tools and materials utilized during the projects are suitable, safe and in accordance with relevant standards and company requirements
  • To act as an Ambassador for BAT towards offical parties and all stakeholders as required
  • All activities listed in processes and General Acts as well as procedures of the Company, and in particular of the own department/function

II.    Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven working experience of minimum 3 years as a Logistics Manager,
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Proficient in standard warehouses software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
