FUNCTION: Operations

LOCATION: Athens, Greece

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

A talented and highly motivated supply chain graduate to help us improve supply chain operations in a dynamic market. Passionate about Logistics, FMCG commerce and cost saving strategies.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to quickly adapt to changes of a challenging environment and will be working with an international team to map and improve supply chain strategies. This role requires someone with excellent organizational skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to think creatively. The SC Graduate will be responsible for overseeing our entire supply chain from the point of acquisition to delivery, as well as managing our inventory and warehousing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Manage the logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels in the warehouse.
• Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers.
• Monitor and optimize the supply chain process.
• Analyse and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

• minimum of 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain – Operations - Trade marketing role where you have proved your ability to learn quickly and that you are details and deadline oriented.
• possess excellent consulting, communication, and engagement skills, coupled with the ability to transmit complex messages to senior stakeholders in an understandable way.
• analytical mindset, and skills with basic analysis tools.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• MS Office proficiency
• Previous experience with SAP would be preferable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, at ease with figures
• Solution-oriented, ability to challenge status quo.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams.
• Proactive attitude– taking initiative.

Education / Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Master’s in Supply Chain or related.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of logistical procedures and best practices
• Understanding of supply chain processes
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
